Re-imagining Curl Talk, an established East London curly hair salon, as a premium studio experience that celebrates curly hair as identity, not just appearance. The aim was to retain the warmth, community and expertise of the original space while elevating it into a luxury sanctuary rooted in care, education and confidence.

[The Process]
This passion project was shaped by both research and personal experience. Drawing on the cultural significance of natural hair and the journey many people have with embracing their curls, the concept explored themes of resilience, growth and self-expression.
[The Identity]
Flowing arcs, sculptural curves and sweeping lines form the visual language, echoing the movement and individuality of natural curls. The arc itself became the central symbol and name — representing transformation, confidence and the evolving journey of embracing natural hair.
[The Result]
A fully realised brand concept spanning identity, digital platforms and salon visualisations. Arc Studios positions curly hair care as a premium, considered experience — creating a space where clients feel supported, understood and confident throughout their curl journey.
[Digital Roll out]
Considered, sophisticated website and booking app that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional for the user.
